Study on Problem Behaviors of Disabled Infants in Integrative Daycare Center

Abstract
This study aimed to identify problem behaviors of disabled infants in integrative daycare center. Data of 83 infants with disability were collected from 55 childminders, and then were analyzed to determine problem behaviors. In the results, the problem behaviors of infants with disability appeared to be categorized into three types: (1) excessive behaviors - the infants is usually very fidgety and shows immoderate activities, (2) behavioral shrinking - the infants is shy and activities are shrank, and (3) bulling - the infants harass peers. These findings suggest that several problem behaviors have been identified from infants with disability, and it should be considered as important aspects to improve the effectiveness of their care in ordinary life. This study provides valuable information for further researches to develop advanced strategies to ameliorate the quality of care-giving service.
